Private lessons are designed for studnets who are needing additional help. Private lessons are best if taken in addition to a weekly class and are not intended to substitute normal weekly classes or drop-in clinics. We strongly encourage all studnets to sign up for weekly classes and turn to private lessons if they are struggeling with a specific skill.
Private lessons are a ½ hour, or one hour in length.
Cost of private lessons:
1 gymnast : $20.00/ half hr. $40.00/hour
2 gymnasts : $25.00/half hr. $50.00/hour
Private lessons are set up between the coach and the student (or student’s parent). To set up a private lesson, please leave your name and number with a member of our office staff. Your information will be posted on our private lesson message board. When coaches have availability, they use the messages on the private lesson board to set up new lessons. If you have a specific coach in mind, please mention that and a message can be left directly for that instructor. Please keep in mind that private lessons are often times hard to schedule and we are not always able to accommodate all requests. We recommend that students enroll in regular classes and take private lessons in addition to weekly classes or drop-in clinics if needed. Private lesson can be no more than 2 gymnasts.
You are responsible for all scheduling and canceling of a lesson once lessons have been established. Scheduling and canceling can be must be done directly with the instructor. Lesson dates must be confirmed, changed, and cancelled only through the coach via their personal cell phone.
Payments can be made by cash or check (made payable the coach). Payment is given directly to the instructor. When you arrive for your lesson you must sign in at the front desk.
All private lesson students must have an emergency card on file. Privates that are scheduled after hours must have a parent or guardian present during the entire lesson. All private lesson students must pay the $25 registration fee if they are not currently.
PRIVATE LESSONS ARE NOT A GUARENTEED CLASS. THEY MAY BE CANCELED OR CHANGED AT ANYTIME BY THE COACH. Private lessons are only permitted during times when other classes are not being held.
